Well, it took eleven days into December before I even registered that November ended. Sheesh. There are so many announcements that I need to mention, so I will just get started...
This Thursday is the Redfish PAC Social at 6pm. Plan to come eat, drink, and socialize with the parents and caregivers of the Redfish School Community. Please RSVP to dan_breanne@hotmail.com so that we can determine how much food to buy. Also, this is for parents, so please consider arranging a babysitter if needed.
Redfish PAC is now registered on ShopandShare.ca This is an online platform that allows people to use their online shopping power to generate funds for a non-profit. You need to create a profile with Shop and Share, and log on to it before shopping online, but that is it - everything else is the same. Try it out!
It is Christmas Concert year at Redfish! There will be a daytime (1pm) and evening performance (7pm). I mentioned at the last PAC meeting, a month ago, that I thought it would be great if the parents could get together to sing a song this year as part of the performance, so if you are interested please contact me asap! It will be fun, and it will show our children that we can be brave too.

After-School Programming is going to continue into the new year. There will be Monday Rockets, Wednesday Explorers, and Friday Adventurers. Watch for the registration forms to come home soon. Art will start up again in the Spring. Please, we are always looking for feedback on how to make the after-school program stronger, so don't hesitate to send in comments or suggestions. redfishpac@gmail.com
Redfish PAC recently requested that Kootenay Lake DPAC support its request to transition to a K-7 school early. DPAC is connecting with Trafalgar regarding the impact this would have on that school, so there will be more updates for you in the new year.
Redfish is a fantastic school, thank you for your influence to create such a great learning space for our children and community. Remember we are stronger together, so if you have suggestions for the school, district, or Provincial level let us know. Our voice is important and can make a difference.
