Hot Lunch Report
There was an open discussion regarding the Hot Lunch Coordinator position. Some suggestions are to create a paid position that would require three to four hours per week (sixteen hours per month). It may be possible to find grant funding to help support the program. This discussion will continue at the next PAC meeting.
After-School Programs
Basketball is going along well. There are hopes to have games with other schools in the future.
There is sometimes a transportation barrier for students to attend after-school programs. It was requested to inquire about the 4pm bus to Procter potentially picking up students. A car-pool request will be added to the next round of registration forms.
The Redfish Jerseys are made of a heavy-weight material, perhaps new ones could be purchased.
Action: Raeanne will contact Director MacLean regarding the 4pm bus.
Action: Tyler will contact C. Wilkinson regarding the potential new jerseys.
DPAC/District Update
Tyler attended the Budget Symposium with Students. It was a great event, and he would have liked to see more real hands on scenarios for students to deal with.
Talking Tables are upcoming. Tyler will attend. There was discussion regarding the Nelson Star article that mentioned Grad Rates in the District.
